Actually I pushed Content Providers to work on pushing the STB vendors 
into supporting SSM/IGMPv3. Mostly by explaining to them the benefits 
that could be achieved with regards to telemetry and actual individual 
viewing statistics. Of course this is not the holy grail and I'm 
skipping the privacy issues (anon statistics and so on) but a few did 
catch on to the concept and did understand the "marketing value" 
SSM/IGMPv3 could deliver.
