Hello;

Greg Wood (I2 Director of Communications;
<>)
and I have
discussed doing a multicast deployment survey
of I2 schools under the I2 imprimatur. We did one in early 2000, the survey
is at

http://www.multicasttech.com/survey/

and the analysis is at
http://www.multicasttech.com/survey/results.html

but the response was low, probably mostly because we were doing this
unofficially.

We would be glad to sponsor this again if people think it useful.

Another thing Greg and I discussed was doing a "I2 Multicast Day", to
showcase multicast apps and content _across the entire I2_
along the lines of what an I2 day does for a single campus.

Regards
Marshall Eubanks

P.S. I thought about cc'ing Greg on this, but it might be better to
summarize the discussion and send it to him.
