It is not all Safari users... Both of the URL's worked fine for me...

Peter, which plug-ins to you have installed to support java?

(Under the Help menu - select "Installed Plug-ins".)

Mine actually lists the Java 1.3.1 Plug-in first. But, there is also the "Java 
Plug-in for Cocoa" listed as handling that mime type. I have not figured out how 
Safari determines which takes precedence.
