Right, so I think the first step is to try and get this upcoming OpenSAML
release to run on 1.3. If the SP is viable, that's a bonus, but we have some
time there.

The DOM3 stuff that used to be a problem isn't now because we require JAXP
1.3 anyway. So my guess is the remaining issues will be in the small bit of
SSL code I included, but we can hopefully introspect around that.
