Yep, I was planning on working on this.  I can say that with a few very 
minor tweaks to JBoss, the IdP runs just fine on JDK 1.5 on Windows and 
Linux.  My plan is to write up a document on what tweaks need to be made 
and how to configure JBoss.

Next week (I'm in meetings or out of town the rest of this week) my hope 
was to be able to test on those other platforms.

I haven't really looked at the OpenSAML code in depth.  Are there test 
cases to put the code through it's paces?  Also, is there the 
expectation that a new version of OpenSAML will come out with the new 
version of Shib?
