Okay, my opinion then is that my time would be better spent helping you test this then doing the other container testing. That can be done later, after 1.3 comes out, this really can't. That will probably work out better with my GU work schedule anyways.

I guess there's a difference between compiling it on 1.3 and running it on
1.3. Java's weird.

The first step to me is compiling it. Since I don't think that will work,
that's the first thing to overcome, finding all the newer classes.

Beyond that, I don't have the discipline to write test cases that cover the
code. There's a signature test case and a SOAP test case that do a pretty
good job of testing the advanced features and a few test cases for basic
objects.


Also, is there the expectation that a new version of OpenSAML will come out with the new version of Shib?


Yes, that's why we only have that length of time to do it.
