Hi Dave,

The construction cam seems to work just perfectly with VLC 1.0 - really clear
image, no artifacts nor packet loss at all!

Is it a hardware codec or are you using VLC to multicast the image?

BR,
Sami

VLC 1.0 does not determine whether the transport is udp or rtsp.

For example, my construction cam at 233.0.59.6:1234 uses udp
<udp://@233.0.59.6:1234>.

HDVTS and the eclipse video use rtsp <rtsp://@ww.xx.yy.zz>.

I don't know of any currently-operating globally-scoped HD multicast using
HDVTS. Are there any out there?
