Well, it's a little different. One just hasn't been assigned, the
other has been assigned for only private use, but I get your point.

Yeah, bad example. Filtering 236/8 is like filtering 77.0.0.0/8 or 50.0.0.0/8 or one of the other reserved addresses on the bogons list.
