The SP used to define and use a symbol "HAVE_GOOD_STL".
It doesn't appear in the configure script or config.h
anymore.  However, it is still used, at least in
"MetadataImpl.cpp", where it causes my compile to
fail.  I used to compile the 'if have good stl' section.
Now it's trying to compile the 'else' section and
failing.
