A 500 Meg file on the wiki? (disk memory is surely cheap nowadays but don't know how will PSNC/wiki application react to this kinda of file sizes)

Just an idea: Upload it to the perfsonar wiki and add a link in the download section.

Quoted the mail from Ben,
Is there any chance to get a place where I can upload these images ?
So, people interested could download these images in a more
convenient way ...
A resource part of PerfSONAR project might be good.

Thanks in advance for your potential help

There are two potential locations: * the svn
* an apache directory.

Depending on the file size, svn could be an option. The second one
option (apache download directory) is yet to be setup (this will act
as a place for downloading all our software - we are currently using
svn for this purpose)

Loukik,

Hope you're doing well. Thanks for your answer.
The size of each file is roughly 500 Meg.
Just please indicate the process of uploading the images and I'll
follow it.
I am afraid that at this moment, its not possible to upload files of
this size via the svn (this is what I understand after talking to Jeff
last week about our svn). In future, the plan is to use ssh or other
means via which we can access an apache tomcat directory.

Apart from this, we need to disucss this process of distributing images
and how much of effort will this process reduce for the users, benefits,
etc

Loukik

Best regards/Frederic
