No, i'm in complete agreement on this point, remember, that's why i
proposed the multi-VLAN setup ;-))

Well, just by announcing prefixes you do not limit the downstream
PIM routers that can send you joins. If you use a whole point-to-point
model, you've got an easy solution (but of course need to copy on
your router to each downstream peer). If you go for the multiple VLAN
model, then you simply define the allowed PIM neighbors on your VLAN.
PIM security would probably come in handy in this case.
