Multi-VLAN/Multicast MIX setup model:

For each party in the MIX there is one Multicast VLAN. The party
who owns the VLAN has an MBGP/MSDP speaker on this VLAN and announces
his prefixes/sources out this router (let's call it the owner-peer).
This owner-peer does ignore all prefix/source announcements that he
may receive from peerings established across this VLAN.

Very interesting concept--thank you.

How would an exchange point handle addressing? If an exchange point was planning for(say) 50 multicast participants, would the exchange point give each participant a /26 for its Multicast VLAN ?
