        I would say premature, but I would guess the 
        correct forum is MBONED. We likely will need to
        develop some kind of BCP that relates to configuration
        parameters that one should implement to prevent
        this, if possible.

        MBONED is where this stuff should be going. wg-multicast is
        too narrow scope.
