a lot of it will calm down when IOS and JUNOS have moderately-well-documented
fixes/coping strategies in supported versions of software. we're almost at
the
second phrase of that condition (e.g. for IOS, when 15S is out, hopefully this
week?), and then can do the first. i think that when those what to do is
doable and understood, people will do it and we'll move past this stage of
inadequacy.
as far as what forum, i think this one is appropriate for operational stuff,
but others should speak up there--it's not my forum.
