There is currently a multicast working group meeting scheduled
for Seattle on Monday (10/11) from 10am to Noon (location to
be announced). There are actually two meetings, but the first
is to discuss the following:

* Technical items including status of backbone deployment,
* address scoping and group control, monitoring and managing multicast
* traffic, establishing backbone peering relationships, etc.

The target audience is primarily the engineering folk.

If anyone has a specific topic (listed above or otherwise) they'd
like to lead the discussion/handling/resolution of please let me
know.
------------

There is a second meeting is Tuesday 11:30am - 12:20pm and this one
is more for multicast neophytes. A status of multicast in Internet2
will be presented. Experts and engineers are certainly encouraged to
attend and contribute.
