I realize that the focus of wg-multicast has been on wide area delivery, but
we
might as well be thinking about how to deliver multicast from our campus CISCO
routers to end-users.

I gave a talk on this topic entitled: "Standards Based Delivery of IP
Multicast
to the Desktop : A Progress Report" at the March '99 SURA Videoconferencing
workshop.

The next likely time for a meeting will be April 28th in DC at
the I2 member meeting. I'll try to forward updates as they
occur.

Finally, if people on the list have topics they are interested in
discussing, please raise them. Traffic on the list has been light
(which is not necessarily a bad thing), but worthy issues should
definitely be raised.
