Shibboleth Developers

Hi,
I would like implementing an example of Service Provider that is able to
interact with Shibboleth IdP.
Someone would tell me where I could find good documentation or some
example to take the cue?
I need to follow guidelines that explains to me step by step what I have
to do.
Language is not important.
