Cool!  First round of observations include:

- Default namespace (urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:metadata) not set
- Prefix ds: is not qualified
- In the case where an optional cert is entered, the
AttributeAuthorityDescriptor is all screwed up (two shib:Scope
elements, no Extensions element, etc.)

I'll keep looking...
