Well, what if a group is deleted? Do you delete all the memberships for that group, or since it's no longer a group, do you leave them out there in LDAP?

Deleting a group from grouper deletes the memberships too. Our provisioner has "linked" or in SPML 2.0 terms "referenced" objects, where if an object is deleted than all of it's references are deleted too - consider membership a reference between a person and group object.
