From my own perspective a single device to perform all functions has 
never worked well. I don't even like getting all services from one 
provider. "Sharing the wealth" helps keep everyone honest and insulates 
from any one type of failure.

To me integrated communicates means communication being handle the way 
the recipient wants when they want it. That is really cool and quite 
powerful. It also enables the recipient of information to receive that 
information how they want for the current circumstance.
