There are even more benefits than bandwidth saving, actually
I would argue such are extremelly important. With broadband
access such as DLS, bandwidth is plantiful but packet losses
still happen to occur. Good packet loss concealment makes then
a great subjetive difference which is imho more valueble then
iLBC's bandwidth saving.
