Hi,
The potential problem with the THAT-2 device is that an pre-amplifier may
still be needed. The device is essentially an impedance matching
transformer and still needs a "line level" signal to send to the phone line.
(see http://www.jkaudio.com/that-2_faq.htm ). There is no guarantee the XLR
signals at the conference center will be strong enough to produce a good
signal into the phone.
I'm thinking it will be easier to work with something like the BeachTek
device and convert from RCA mini-plug to phone plug, but am not sure yet.
