for the local LAN that is true - IPv6 uses multicast methods rather than
broadcasts for some of the local functions..... for the wider WAN its not
true -
I can get to IPv6 services on google etc just through standard unicast
methods.
one day YouTube etc wont just use unicast to send streams...well, I can
dream! ;-)
