I have had brief experience with a Dell powerconnect 3024 switch.
This was at least a year ago so it may have improved.
bottom line, this switch fell over dead when attached to a network
with a moderate amount of multicast traffic. This was repeatable.
It seemed to be a cheapo chinese-made deal. i'm sure it would work fine
for your typical small-business MS windows lan but i wasn't impressed
by its management capabilities in general.
