If you're an edge network and know your traffic well enough to know you
won't need them it is probably not a bad idea. Just be sure to keep an
eye on any changes to the allocations.

Its always hard to tell what might break, since you may not always get
complaints to clue in you in. We've run into at least a couple of
applications that use addresses in what are seemingly bogon ranges. The
applications are hard coded for these ranges so we had to poke holes in
our internal filters for them to pass. Novell ZenWorks and Altiris come
to mind.
