thanks john. you confirmed what i thought. i agree that sparse should be
fine for all cases that i am aware of. although i am concerned with the
lack of msdp state across the wide area in I2 for many mcast sources, even
to the point of lacking sdr announcer themself in msdp. i suspect that
this is a result of these sources (inc. the sdr announcers) not being
advertised into msdp because of a far end dense mode network not being
proxied on correctly. just a suspicion at best for the moment.
