Shibboleth Developers

Proceeding along my line of dumb-ass questions, I'm wondering if the
origin tarball will continue to include all the stuff it currently
includes, or if it can (or should, or will) just include necessary doc
files, and /bin, and dist/shibboleth.war.  Seems like if all the source
stuff isn't necessary for a binary distro it may as well be left out
rather than potentially confusing the poor binary-installing sysadmin?
Or am I misunderstanding what's needed?
