I'm currently running perfSONAR Toolkit v4.4.1-1 on Ubuntu
Repeat-cron has been part of the system since 4.3.0, which was released last November. It’s part of pScheduler’s core, so the kind of test you’re asking it to do won’t matter. You will run into problems if you’re on a system that has it and trying to coordinate a test with an older one that doesn’t, but you should still be getting an error message that doesn’t require poking around the logs. --Mark
