Hello,

I asked this because I would like to guarantee that when is a OWAMP test, for instance, comes to interface A and IPERF3 test comes to interface B.
I would like to ensure that owamp test doesn't comes to interface B. We would like to have a way to not conflict between distinct type of tests.

How in older version bwctl just worked for IPERF, I just dedicated interface A for bwctl and interface B for ping/owamp/traceroute.
We were doing it using linux vrf.

Now, how bwctl interporates other tools, it doesn't isolate interfaces for each kind of test.
This was the reason why I asked about limiting tests on limits.

Any other suggestion how to do it?

Hope I do myself explainable.

Thanks in advance,

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a way to configure BWCTL limits to limit bwctl to anwers to one specific interface to ping and to another specific interface to traceroute, for example.
I was thinking that there would be a way to do it by bwctl limits.
Do you know if that is possible?

Is this something you can't do with iptables?
