Forgot a subject! got one now. 

Forgot to add:

One assumes BTW that the problem *may* be the other end, esp if it updated 27
April wee hours same time as Bristol's BW box; but there seem N boxes in the
UK (for instance) to which the Oxford perfsonar BW box seems fine (more than
Bristol's) right up to Now. 

So, it seems unlikely that the update in 27 April wee hours was a serious
cause of breakage. But not sure.
