What is the next step for "new svn structure"?
What is the procedure of migration to new structure?
What should be updated/changed to move other services to the new structure?
Is there any deadline for moving existing services to the new structure?
I think those questions should be answered by the release team.

Hi Roman,

That was my intention (waiting for the repsonse for release team).

Thanks for other clarification. It will be useful for other service developers.

Sorry for next silly question but - how much time, in your opinion, do a developer need to spend on changing ant scripts for applying them to the new structure?

As you probably know my ant scripts are quite different from yours so will I will need to re-write most of them or the changes will be small?

I'd like to avoid spending next 2-3 weeks on writing ant testing ant scripts from scratch for the new release

Maciej

Roman, Maciej, all,

We would like to push for maximum re-use of perfSONAR-base inside services. Doing this will give us reductions in maintenance efforts, reduced development costs, increased similarity among services, reduced checks to ensure similar look and feel (and possibly more)

From release management point of view, we will soon analyse the perfSONAR-base (especially the ant targets) so that we can work with you guys on adding/modifying stuff which is in there.

Szymon/Nicolas, from the development point of view, would you be able to have a look at the functionality currently present in the base and see what else can be added (to help other developers)?

Loukik.
