I'd add to that that trying to use OpenSAML for ID-FF is doomed to failure.
Liberty is not an extension of SAML, at least not in the ways SAML 1.1 was
designed to be extended. Therefore there's no clean way to extend OpenSAML
to support it.
My code handles extensions at the various points in the schema designed to
allow it, but Liberty didn't use those.
