Hi Carl,

we use Grouper with Oracle 10.2 (soon to become Oracle 11g)

We have on our production system:

* 59,380 groups
* 2,378,858 memberships
* 543,660 subjects

Haven't had any particular performance issues that I'm aware of.

Hope that's useful.

Cheers,

Richard

At Lafayette College, we are gearing up to do a limited Grouper pilot. One
of the questions that has come up during planning is, "What kind of database
backend are folks actually using with Grouper?" I'd be interested in knowing
a bit about the type of databases deployed in production Grouper settings,
and something that would give us an idea about the scale of the subjects,
groups, and memberships being managed. This information would be useful for
us as a starting point.

Thanks,
