We, Univ of Washington, have used postgres for many years. I expect we will move to MySql sometime next year. That's mostly because MySql is what
our DBAs want to support now.

At Lafayette College, we are gearing up to do a limited Grouper pilot. One of the
questions that has come up during planning is, "What kind of database backend are
folks actually using with Grouper?" I'd be interested in knowing a bit about the
type of databases deployed in production Grouper settings, and something that would
give us an idea about the scale of the subjects, groups, and memberships being managed.
This information would be useful for us as a starting point.
