Not sure the thread on isMemberOf is accurate. It isn't about the  
scoping, but about mavenizing.

We're mavenized in ldappc and we're staying that way.

That said, we can certainly discuss isMemberOf, though Tom seemed to  
be the outlier and it may not be fair to discuss it when the project  
manager is not there.
