Dear All,

We have done some performance and interoperability tests between 3Com, Avaya and Siemens, whose results were presented in the IT Conference last year. On next March 18th, we should do some other presentation about such tests at my university, University of São Paulo.

Unfortunately, the reports were written in Portuguese, but if you consider valuable, I can translate parts of it.

What do you think?

My Best Regards

Guy and Jon,
This is true but one must have a working end to end system (some through put) at least some
of the time before this comes to the head of the list.

progression: not working>working sometime>working good but not ideal> working just like ma bell
(just a joke)

later,
john

Jon,
I agree.
Robustness of user experience in the presence of good-but-perhaps-not-very-good IP service is one way to put it.

This is somewhat off topic, but to me, the most important thing to test

VoIP project. One of the 2004 projects is to evaluate SIP
interoperability between various vendors SIP based instruments and other
vendors SIP based servers. The goal is to document the level of
interoperability. Listed below is a partial list of desired voice
