Hi All,
Just picked up on this.
I know lots of JISC people----but I'm sure you don't need intros, you can
just contact the authors directly.
That's right. JISC is generally very willing to support outreach from its projects. The guys sometimes sit around waiting to be invited while the open door awaits.
Speaking of other efforts, the URL that Ted (Hi Ted) posted to
the list was very interesting. I note that H-P is prominently
mentioned a couple of times. Maybe this would be worth some
discussion. Alistair, if you're reading, are you familiar with JISC?
Is anyone? Would we want to see if the author would like to talk
to us?
I'll get onto them and encourage them to get things moving.
Thanks to Ted and all for waking me up - teaching's a bit heavy this semester!
Regards,
Alistair
