In general I think this is an excellent compromise and I agree
completely with the analysis of the value proposition for the trial. The
PIC group is primarily about the integration of computer-mediated computer
communications components rather than the components individually.
Dropping VoIP shouldn't, necessarily, be a deal breaker.

If we agree (I'm soliciting other opinions) to this proposal, we need
to nail down UA installation as simple as possible and do some quick
work on whatever mailing we send out.

Some questions:

This clearly affects Session. What do we do?

If HP is offering iPAQs, should we hold off on handset giveaways and
put the money back in the bank for the time being?

Jamey, I get a general sense of what is meant by "the periphery of the
space" but I'm not sure how to translate that into the hotel. Do you
want to put skiffs in hallways beyond the meeting rooms?

Jamey, by "push" are you referring specifically to the Hawaii model
or do you just mean you want a mailing sent to all participants?

There are also some portal stability questions and whether a map of
the hotel will also be available through the portal.

Ben, do you have time to do the calendar integration?
