Actually, the reason I added password authentication at this stage is
because web crawlers have been visiting the :4110 location service
already and I did not want to give up email addresses to spammers.

I would recommend that we add a note to the registration page that the
password is just to prevent abuse and not to deliver high security in
this demo.  In other words, do not use a password that should not be
compromised.
