Thanks for the responses - the stream is not being sent via multicast - the multicast request is failing and the QTSS server fails back and serves up a unicast stream.  
We are looking into why the multicast announcements are not working. More soon hopefully.

That sdp file falls back to unicast, so it makes checking for multicast
more of a challenge.  Using videoLAN and checking for 233.0.236.30 does not
see a multicast.

(I'm at home right now but checked a work computer with remote desktop.  I
can see > rtsp://quicktime.merit.edu/nanogmult.sdp on my unicast
cablemodem.)
