Yeap My Dear,Nor does it work on a Cisco 7609 10G interface running IOS 12.2(33)SRB2: UA-004-R1(config)#int te2/1.1702 UA-004-R1(config-subif)#ip multicast ? boundary Boundary for administratively scoped multicast addresses helper-map Broadcast to Multicast map OR Multicast to ip-address map limit Limit multicast mroute state rate-limit Rate limit multicast data packets ttl-threshold TTL threshold for multicast packets UA-004-R1(config-subif)#ip multicast rate-limit in group-list SAP-mcast-group 1000 "ip multicast rate-limit" command is not supported UA-004-R1(config-subif)# UA-004-R1# -jcw Is it the 1st time that you see that ? I ve a lot. 81.194.43.1 I apologize, it was a guy from my network s team who was working on a SAP server from home (late ( local hour )) therefore he did nt saw what s happened.I yes early this morning. There was NO DOS intentionnaly, just a misconfig. It effectively means that any sources the router sees with a rate exceeding 1000 kbps, it will not forward downstream. This doesn't work in 12.2(18)SXF11 on a POS interface. Any other suggestion?I don't know what platform you tried it on, but I've only tested it on software-based routers: 7301 (running 12.4T), 7204 VXR (12.3T). Therefore I'm not sure if it's the hardware platform that doesn't support it (I wouldn't be suprised if it doesn't work on GSRs or specific line cards) or if you need a different IOS train. I'd need to look it up in IOS documentation...------------------------------------- John Watters UA: OIT 205-348-3992 |
