Was this VLC's miniSAPserver?
It's very buggy. I accidentally created a SAP storm last Feb, just by  
trying to use it to create H.264 SAPs.
All I did was put in two IP address and port number lines instead of  
one!

Luckily I caught it in about 20 minutes, after many complaints on  
this list.
What was he using, just wondering.
