Good question, I don't really know how the streaming software works. I could imagine that each server could source multiple groups and start sending traffic to a group once someone hits a web page. You wouldn't want separate servers sourcing the same group.
I will ask; it may not be an issue with multicast at all except they need a balancer for unicast streams, so the balancer even if not balancing the mcast traffic will need to be smart enough not to get in the way.

Why load balance multicast? No matter how many clients, you still have only one stream transmitted from the server...
