Oh, yes indeed! I've been a big fan of VideoLAN since 0.2.92, and
it it just keeps getting better.  It can even play DVDs on my
antique Lombard PowerBook (and stream them too!) I've sent and
received all manner of video with it, over IPv[4|6] [uni|multi]cast.

In fact, if you look at 233.14.172.1:1234 you can see some lovely
old Chevrolet commercials from the inestimable Prelinger Archive,
courtesy of VLC on my desktop G4.

I do wish they'd fix their nasty SDP implementation though. If I
weren't such a lame programmer I'd try to help. . .
