Patcharee--

I am currently trying to join from the UW and we peer with Abilene on the
SeattleNG router. I see traffic getting all the way into our campus, but not
to my host. I was able to use tcpdump to see traffic on our backbone with the
the follwoing results:

09:56:41.211096 203.159.28.31.1035 > 233.18.159.50.15000: [udp sum ok] udp
1452 [ttl 1] (id 46856, len 1480)
09:56:41.257801 203.159.28.31.1035 > 233.18.159.50.15000: [udp sum ok] udp
1452 [ttl 1] (id 46868, len 1480)
09:56:41.304718 203.159.28.31.1035 > 233.18.159.50.15000: [udp sum ok] udp
1451 [ttl 1] (id 46882, len 1479)
09:56:41.336077 203.159.28.31.1035 > 233.18.159.50.15000: [udp sum ok] udp
1451 [ttl 1] (id 46894, len 1479)
09:56:41.367632 203.159.28.31.1035 > 233.18.159.50.15000: [udp sum ok] udp
1451 [ttl 1] (id 46905, len 1479)

It does say the TTL is 1, which will cause traffic to stop at the router right
before my host, and I have verified that I am not seeing the traffic on my
host network. Please try setting TTLs to 128 or 255 to ensure better
reachability.

Regards

Amel
