Built the SP from SVN. Have
/opt/shibboleth-sp-source/etc/shibboleth/partialLogout.html
and
/etc/shibboleth/partialLogout.html

but while logging out, the SP still complains:

shibsp::ConfigurationException

Unable to access partialLogout HTML template.



Looking at the code I see that there is an option partialLogout for the
Errors element in shibboleth2.xml. So I added that option and then the
template was found and used :-)
I tested LocalLogout using a back-channel Notify element. Once pointing
to a real application logout script and once to an invalid URL. In the
latter case the SP showed the partial logout message.
