Scott,

You do need an SP. They include the glue to talk to an SP which I think is mostly some php. It works really well, auto-provisioning and everything. They did a good job in my opinion.

Sorry, I didn't realize anything shipped with Moodle, I assumed it was glued
to an SP separately. Somebody recently asked about Moodle here, and I had
the impression they were planning to install the SP with it.
