No, it's explicitly not allowed because you don't own the DNS domain
internet2.edu. It's a pretty simple rule, but I guess it's left entirely
implicit in the Java world.
Chad's point is correct...if you do take code and just rename, then
prefixing with a domain is fine. Otherwise you can just do whatever you
prefer, but in a domain you own (or at least owned by the owner of the
work).
