Ok, I found a preprocessor flag for the mysql build to disable that compiler
extension and switch to the normal Windows API calls for thread storage,
rebuilt it, fixed a couple of nasty unrelated bugs in our code, and it seems
to be loading the plugin now, debug and release.

This is a highly tweaked mysql library, so there's no way to get a stock
build to work, or the binary from the web site.

Still need to test more, but need sleep now...
