Nate,

Looks like the origin section in the guide is missing the tomcat
server.xml mods that I specified for the target. Should be the same for
origin as well or origins will have problems with REMOTE_USER not being
set for the HS. The main thing is the second part.

1. Modify /conf/server.xml as follows:

     Add address="127.0.0.1" inside the <Ajp12Connector> and
     <Ajp13Connector> configuration elements

     Add tomcatAuthentication="false" to the <Ajp13Connector>
     configuration element
